If this is true, I'm in trouble. I kiss mine too.

Unless you swallow a flea and get a tapeworm ... your risk is minimal.

If kissing them is dangerous I think we're all in big, big trouble.

Ooh, I do neck kisses all the time. And mouth kisses, and belly kisses, and little toesy kisses. The only place I haven't kissed a cat is on the butt. Somehow it surprises me that I'm repulsed by any cat part.

Oh Heaven's! Like everyone else, my cats get multiple kisses on an hourly basis! I can't imagine not smothering them in kisses.
There really isn't anything you can catch from kissing your cat. As Heidi said, unless you are licking your cat and happen to swallow a pregnant flea...

Don't listen to people who know nothing about cats. It's good you are going to a site like this. If you don't know something it's a good idea to look online and then draw your own conclusions. If you could catch parasites from cats then I would of caught hundreds of them decades ago because I kiss my boys all over-on their tummies, paws, noses, mouths, necks, backs, tails, even a little bit close to their penises. I just can't resist kissing my boys and I have had cats all my life.
