I really don't understand why some people won't scoop at least once a day. I know cat litter has some odour control, but it doesn't completely eliminate the bad smell, and anyway, it only takes a few minutes to scoop it out. My cat has one box and I scoop it about 3 times a day or whenever I notice that she's been to the toilet. Sometimes when I'm home she'll call for me when she's finished so I can scoop it out right away cos she prefers a clean box.

I have one cat and I scoop at least once a day, sometimes twice. But I think if for some reason the litter couldn't get scooped for a full day, it wouldn't be all that terrible. I have no reason not to scoop everyday, but if I was sick and had no help, I could see scooping every other day or something.
Anymore than that and things would get pretty disgusting. Plus, that's just with one cat. With 2 cats I think at least a daily scooping is a must. |

I have 3 cats, 2 boxes and scoop 3x a day. Occasionally if we are super busy or out for a whole day, etc. and we only scoop twice then it is full and looks like I hadn't scooped in a week. I cannot imagine scooping only once a day and once a week is disgusting and unhygenic IMO
