What a great idea! Thanks! I am going to make some.
(Some years ago I actually sewed some toy mice with tails, but I didn't think to add the catnip, so the mice were never very popular).

We have loads of DIY cat toys...milk ties, beer bottle caps, the (forbidden!) elastics, crinkly plastic stolen from the garbage....ect.
 Those do look much nicer though.
