The hedgehogs seem to be more aggressive then the kitten. I wonder if they let the kitten feed. It appears that the kitten doesn’t particularly like the situation here.

The kitten looked perfectly contented to me.

I have twice had animals that were prepared to be universal mothers and take any young creature under their metaphorical wings - one was a cat and the other was a Jack Russell Terrier of all things.
