I don't know if anyone else has done this but my husband and I have had the "how many" talk. I am an extensive planner. Usually if something changes in my life, it's because I've planned extensively for it to happen. Same goes with pets and I think it's good to set your limit early and stick to it.
Long story short, even though we agreed on a high number (8-12 cats) my husband asked me "but how do you even know you want that many if you've never had that many before". I KNOW what I want. So I guess what I'm asking for is a reality check. I want to see if what I imagine matches up with what it's actually like. For those of you with multiple cats in your home, what's it like day to day? And how many do you have? What makes it worth it to you? What are the pros and cons?
