Xerxes will go and find things to bring back to the dish or stinky object, I've taken to leaving a hand towel next to his food dish just so he doesn't have to be so distressed about trying to steal the dish towel or wash cloth off the drying rack in the kitchen. He has unmade the bed trying to cover the dog while she was sleeping on it, poor Kiska just laid there with this look like "What did I do now?"

Oh I didn't know that lions descended from the same line. No wonder last night I was watching Prince and he looked so much like a lion. I commented on it to him and thought it couldn't be.

My cats caught a moth in midair. The most amazing thing is, they worked in teams!

There was once that Meatball went nuts when a sparrow landed on our balcony. She made this weird sound that I never heard before (and I don't know how to discribe). Yet she does not react this way when she sees pigeons or seagulls (which come more frequently) on the balcony. She merely watches them. I guess she knows these birds are too big for her to catch?

I wouldn't describe this as my favorite thing, but it is certainly the closest to the wild my cats get. Azalia loses her mind when she sees any shadow of potential prey behind the blinds on a sunny day. It can be bird, squirrel, another cat...whatever. She stops in her tracks and is mesmerized by the movement. She get so carried away she actually pounces at the window and *thud*...it's quite hysterical.
