Milky likes to sit/crouch while eating. It doesn't matter what the food is. I think he's more of a passive eater. He likes grazing at his food, unless he's absolutely starved.

Buttons has always sat down while eating. She very occasionally stands if she is exceptionally hungry and wants to eat quickly, but she usually is in no rush and will sit there for 10-15 minutes savouring her food.

LOL As a matter of fact...

I put an old placemat down for him to sit on. Please excuse my messy cookbooks. I haven't gotten bookends or found a place to put them yet that looks attractive.

Miss M crouches and does the meow/growl the entire time regardless of what's in the bowl. She's definitely an aggressive eater.

My dogs either sit or lie down. They only occasionally stand. The only exception is the Chi. She almost always stands.

My cat likes me to hold her and feed her out of the palm of my hand. That's her favourite. Next is eating off the table, preferably in a bowl that someone human has already started eating from. Least liked is eating from some horrible cat bowl off the floor of all places. Unfortunately that's the reality for her at our place 99% of the time.

Callie crouches- you know the way cats sit sometimes that makes them look like their front legs are only an inch long. lol

Only one of my girls stands While she is eating.. Noodle stands so she can run away from the others, though sometimes she crouches. Ninja always crouches, and the boys (Jhujuu and Tucker) will sometimes crouch, although often enough they just lay down to eat! Its so silly to see!
