The Cats Meow
Okay so this is my first pose, so ill go ahead and ask something iv always wondered.
Iv read online that cats are either vocal, or not. But iv witnessed firsthand my dads cats chocolate and cocoa meow more often through the years. As in, when i first moved in chocolate didnt meow at all. After a year of me being there he started to do the frustrated chirrup while watching the birds. Cocoa cant meow, she squeeks, but she would squeek at us when you offered her treats.
After 3 years, chocolate would meow his head off when it was feeding time, and occasionally when his water bowl got low. He would also do a meow-purr at me when i talked to him in the early mornings while getting ready fot work/school.
Is this just because he was getting older? (I believe hes 6-7 years old now) or did he just start picking up on our communication? Or maybe even just something not learned when they were socialized
