It must be winter

My semi feral has spent more than 24 hours inside without once demanding to go out! I think that officially makes it winter!!

Do your cats change behaviour according to the seasons?

My kitties spend more time upstairs with us rather than down in the basement. Miss Baby will also come and snuggle under the covers with me, which I love. When she is not there Missy is.

Since the cold weather started, Midnight, the wild cat, is closed in the garage at 7 PM and spends the night. He leaves when I feed him a 5AM, goes out for about three hours, and then comes back to his heated house. He goes out a few times during the day but spends a lot of time in the house. Right now the sun is out and it is 10 degrees F so he is up on the recycle bin on his rug (see avatar).

When he first showed up 3+ years ago he was a lot tougher.

It could also be that like me, he is getting old.

Oh yeah. Blacky hardly stays inside during the spring and summer. Fall and winter hit and she's indoors, especially at night.
