Hey everyone,
Just thought I would let you all know of a lesson I learned today...ALWAYS WATCH YOUR KITTY AROUND CHRISTMAS BAKING!!! Seems my sweet little Joy has a taste for sugar cookies...LOL I don't think there is anything in there that would hurt her, and it was a tiny cookie. We had a good laugh about it and needless to say, we will have a closer eye on our baked goods from now on! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you all...and Happy New Year! That's so cute! You never can tell what a cat will suddenly decide to do.
While doing my Christmas baking Moxie hopped up on the counter and started to lick the mixer! I guess she suddenly decided she likes short bread. I turned around and had a good laugh - reminded me of when I was a kid an I used to get to lick the beaters when my mother was baking. |

I had a Himalayan once and no baked goods were safe if left on the counter. He would get into bread, cakes, etc. his greatest weakness were muffins. He died about ten years ago and I still miss my dear Katmandu.

I left a baguette out on counter for a party the next day. I found it on the floor with each side of the baguette chewed on. I have two cats. The wrapper was still on the counter and had been slit open on one side as if done by a knife. I learned no food can be left out. One cat seems to like the casings from garlic!

Ever since Yuki was a kitten she's attacked bread. A few times I've noticed the crust looked a little gnawed on

Ruby is a shameless cadger and will steal almost anything we have found. We thought she would just be interested in meat but she likes cake, naan bread, chips, egg, cheese - well as I said almost anything.
We really have to watch her, but oddly, she doesn't go counter surfing, just cadges stuff when we are eating and will even pinch some off your plate if you don't pay attention.
