Thank you! I think he's just the most handsome little (well, big..18lbs and still underweight) guy. He's by far the best thing I've ever found in the bushes.

Squeek seems to have nightmares, she really moves and shakes in her sleep. Lickorish just quivers a little. I sometimes wonder if they dream about their previous life and owners who abandoned them at the shelter...

Gatita sometimes whines in her sleep. I haven't heard her in a long time, though. I think she dreams that Prince is chasing her, as he often does.

The Royal von Meouw Dynasty: His Royal Highness the late Prince von Meouw,
Her Royal Highness Princess Gatita von Meouw, Nikita Duchess of Meouw and
His Highness Cuchi-Cuchi, next in line for the throne of Prince von Meouw.

Last April our cat, Zipper who is 15, arthritic and walks like a raccoon fell down the stairs. She broke her breast bone and had to be very carefully monitored during rehab. She still has trouble jumping down from the sofa. Every since that fall she seems to have terrible, violently jerking nightmares. She doesn't wimper or cry, just has spasms like she is falling in her dreams. We carefully wake her up and she goes back to sleep just to dream of awful things again. Poor baby.

Cat owners' prayer: "Lord help me be the person my cat thinks I am"
