A few years back, I bought one of those Cat DVD's, because they were on sale for 99 cents...so, I figured I'd give it a try. I put the movie in, and their were mice squeeking and running about. Both girls sat in front of the TV in the family room, side by side, mesmerized. I couldn't believe they took such an interest. They looked like two little couch potatoes.
In the basement, I have one of those very large screen TV's, which sits quite low to the floor. I wondered how they would react if I put the movie on that TV. When I put the movie on the basement TV, the girls ran and hid under the coffee table. You see, what I hadn't thought about is that, on the large screen, the mice are almost as big as my girls! I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. In general, my girls tend not to bother with TV, although they always look up and take interest whenever there are any animals making a noise onscreen, such as dogs barking, lions roaring, etc.

I didn't think so, but one time a commercial for a restaurant came on, and they showed a picture of a giant steak. Merlin jumped up and started licking the steak! LOL I don't think they generally pay too much attention to it though.
