I noticed early that my younger cat watched TV a bit. So I found a great bird video on You Tube and he will sit on my lap and watch. As he is getting older, he doesn't watch as long but still will watch for a good 5 minutes. Does your cat do anything like this?

They both "watch" TV if there is something that moves quickly. They love it when I play video games, especially Lego Star Wars because of the lights and movement. They also love the Wii because of the hand that moves.
Ziggy is more interested than Moosey, but she's younger, too.

LOL! THAT was funny!! My 6 could care less about TV no matter what is on. They even have access to a screened in porch so they can watch the birds, ducks and geese 24/7. I tell people that it's like having a surround media system for the cats. After awhile they are totally bored, though. |

We have a couple of those "made-for-cats" vidoes running on an old computer monitor set at floor level. All the cats absolutely love the one with birds. The screen takes a bit of a beating, there are cat nose prints all over it.
Occasionally, something will catch their eye/ear for a moment on the "regular" TV, but I don't know what it is that attracts them or even if it is the audio. Nothing obvious to me. |

My boy Kodak loves watching the Too Cute kittens episodes on Animal Planet. His eyes get all big and he just stares. I think he misses when Waffles was so little, since he mothered him so much.

Very now and then I notice Harli is watching something on tv. She likes to chase my curser too if I'm on the computer.
I have one of those made-for cat videos. The first couple of times, they loved watching the squirrel one, but after they figured out they weren't real they lost interest in favor of watching the real ones outside.
