Greetings Fellow Cat Lovers!
Hey there all! I'm new to this forum, but not new to cats! I've owned cats since I was born, and we've always owned little girls. Over the summer our last girl passed away due to kidney failure, and so just last week we decided it was time to bring another furry friend into our home. We decided to go for a boy due to their more cuddly nature, and so we ended up with 1 1/2 year old Jacob.
I've been scouring the internet looking up things to make the transition easier for the new baby because I was very young the last time we adopted, and I found my way to this site. I'm really excited to meet you all! |

Thank you! Fingers crossed, everything has gone very well up to this point, little Jacob just seems to fit right in and has no problem making himself comfortable. He's curled up in my lap as I type this out! The real test will be when we start to switch him to wet food, because he's been on dry since that is what he ate in the shelter.

Well, he'll either love it or hate it....or somewhere in between. I have 5 cats - all old. Two will eat anything and plenty of it. One eats ONLY dry food and one ONLY wet food, and one I can't seem to figure out day to day. They will tell you what they like.
