Azalia does this, too for attention. She generally starts licking and gently pawing at my hair. I usually pet her and she settles down, but every now and again, she gets overstimulated and ouch!!!

For the most part, if I ignore her, she will grab my hair between her teeth and tug not so gently. She has to get my attention somehow, right? lol

2 of my boys will do this. Although they both seem a bit gentler than yours haha. I have one that likes to paw at my hair and grab the ends, giving it a little tug. His is just attention grabbing though, as soon as you start petting him, he's all about snuggling up against your leg and purring away. The other one, he likes to get his teeth into your scalp (gently though) and kinda do a 'flea nibble' like he's checking me for lice or something lol.
