Question Crazy things your cats do?

My 6 month old kitten, Inky, likes to jump on the curtains and climb them all the way up. The curtains like 7 feet in the air. He also likes to climb on your back while your kitchen, very painful at six in the morning while your half a sleep.

Sounds like someone needs to get a cardboard tube from a carpet store, some carpet, stapler, and glue and make a cat tree.

How he picked up on it, we don't know for sure but when our late cc was about a year or so old, I had used the term "get Becky" (wife's name) when she was walking from the kitchen thru the hall and up the stairs.....well, he sure liked the game and would literally chase her up the stairs, and sometimes would be able to grab her calf or foot and give a little bite....the kids thought it was funny but he had to stop doing this cause it could be dangerous for her and got to be not so much fun for her. He also was good at hiding in a paper bag and attacking one of our other cats when they went by.

Kermit, for some reason, would wake us up about 3am almost everynite. First the wife who would toss him over to sound sleeper me. I would cuddle him and he would sleep there till morning. Sometimes, I guess, I didn't even know I was doing this, being half asleep.

My 10 week old kitten loves to climb up things! Last night he found the curtain and decided to climb! Got half way up until I got to him. He pins his ears back and goes for it!

Also when he plays, he literally bounces all over...then if he runs into something or tumbles funnily, and we laugh, he gets embarrassed and runs out the room, but soon returns to the fun and games.

When he sleeps, gets so relaxed that his legs stretch out and he goes basically limp! Have to support his head because it flops all over.

Paschalis likes to come running to whichever room I am arching his back and when I say "got you" he runs out of the room. He waits behind a wall or door and when I go by he runs in front of me standing on his two legs pretending he's attacking me.

He also likes to pretend I am the prey. I hide somewhere, then I put my head out to make eye contact. This is the signal. He crouches and starts approaching me.If I look him in the eye he freezes until I draw my head back again. Then he starts coming towards me silently and leaps on me.

Aries is a total mama's boy - he is friendly and unafraid with everyone but he will only cuddle, purr and really relax or fall asleep on me. Other people can pet him but he will go to the tree house to sleep and doesn't snuggle or purr with anyone else. He sleeps on my bed every night and if I'm away for a couple days he gets very upset.

Orion is the opposite - if there are 3 people on the couch he will go from lap to lap to lap making sure everyone pets him and gets to lavish him with attention.

Moosey will all of the sudden start running around the apartment on what I like to call her "racetrack". She runs all around the living room, then up the stairs to the loft then back down the stairs and does it again.

When she is playing with a toy, she throws it in the air and makes these crazy leaps.

I am at work right now and really missing her.

Chino does exactly that too. It's too funny!

My first cat did that too. He would race around the lounge. I thought he was possessed!

Yesterday I caught Zipper sleeping on our screened-in porch - during a blizzard - when it is 29 degrees outside!!! I had to call her inside and she was covered in snow! Bonehead.

Cat owners' prayer: "Lord help me be the person my cat thinks I am"
