Just curious - I know lots of cats suckle on things. Both of mine do. One suckles on these little fleece toys that I buy (and nothing else) and the other one curls into a ball, holds his tail in place with his front paws and sucks on the tip of it. Does anyone else know of a cat that suckles its tail?
I'm not concerned about this behavior - they only do it occasionally when very relaxed and they don't suckle on my clothes or anything so I don't see any reason to try to stop it. |

Muffin did this when he was a baby, cutest EVER! I have a movie of him doing it when he was about 9 months old...he stopped shortly after.
As long as he's not irritating the skin on his tail tip you're fine. PS, From one Albertan to another, Welcome!
