My newest addition is definitely very "kneady"! She will get on my stomach when I am laying back in the chair, knead me for about 30 minutes, and then walk off without even laying down for a second. WHY? Do anyone else's kitties do this?

They do it when they're happy.
I've read that they do this when they're content because it's what they used to do to their mommies when they were getting milk. |

Aha sounds like she's showing you a little love! But just wants to be a silly kitty about it! Jacob will knead my stomach and legs, and then maybe walk around the couch/bed a little bit still kneading before he finds a comfy spot to lay down and sleep. But he'll always end up curling up at the end, unless something distracts him.
Aha, right now as I type this, he has found his comfy spot in a little cave under my blanket covered knees, I can't help but laugh at him. |

Cleo kneads me every night at bedtime. Sometimes she drools.

When she first adopted me, she would turn around in a circle three times and then start kneading my arm while I was lying on my back. If I reached over to pet her, she would have to restart the whole thing again. So cute! She's over the OCD thing now, but my arm still has to be bare. She won't knead me through clothing.

I thought cats who were taken from their mothers to early were more likely to keep the habit?
Cherry does it sometimes. She will only knead certain blankets. Some nights she wakes me up because she's kneading me and stabbing me with her claws. I usually keep the blanket she likes to knead on top of my comforter so she won't stab me. I wish she kneaded on me more often. It's very relaxing at times. Please tell me I'm not alone on that? lol She also drools sometimes too.
