yeah kiki licks my eyelids when they are closed as well... she hugs my arms when we sleep at night... and she eats my hair... she is just too cute... oh and btw... i keep finding her collar laying around the house so i pick it up and put it back on here... twenty minutes later without fail... shes off running around... and the collar is under the table or on the chair... or under the plant... i hate how she has figured out how to take it off of herself... blah... must find smaller collar

I reread my own earlier post and realize I didn't clarify myself too well. In referring to what Misty wrote, we don't let our cats 'stick their tongue up your nose', or bite our nose, which would be like, yuck. We just let them touch noses, or get away with a quick lickety-lick on the tip of the nose or on the ear. It's kind of more like what luci wrote;

"This is cute, but the feeling is a little freaky, so I mostly move slightly when she does this. Obviously careful not to hurt her feelings."

Sometimes I don't let the cat do it, but hold her gently immobile so I can touch the tip of my nose to her forehead instead. They're very 'nose conscious', aren't they? That's better than 'nosey neighbors', who can't resist what they think they can portray to others as a 'nice juicy bad smell' and always sticking their noses into your business, and twisting the facts to make themselves look so smart. :p

I don't know about savage wild animals, but our beloved pets will be with us in Heaven. I don't 'think' this, I believe it quite firmly. I think they will be able to communicate with us as good as talking, too, and they'll have their own unique point of view. I don't know if it will be our language, or if we will somehow understand their restored feline language, or without language. This is kind of off-thread, but I hope I can get away with one paragraph, so I'll stop.
