lol it's probably just hormones still. It takes a while for the hormone levels to go down. But I bet if you videotape Ginger doing that, you could make it on America's Funniest Animals.

Cats are not fertile after surgery. AT ALL! It is a complete 100% removal of the testicles. There is no way that the other cat could get pregnant. His behaviour is quite normal. Just like some neutered dog hump at legs...some neutered cats try to mate with unspayed cats. I have a female Himaliyan who is not spayed...and one of my neutered males ALWAYS does this. He is just instinctively trying to mate with her because he knows instinctively when she is in heat. Animals actions are mostly based on instinct, not reason. He doesn;t necessarily undersatnd that by taking this stance with the female he cannot perform any longer...he just knows that it is a female cat in heat.
but don't worry about the fertility thing..he is and always was after the surgical procedure strile!
