I have just ordered this product as a last resort to treat my cats ringworm. It was about $40 for a huge bottle of liquid.
I know that this porduct is not FDA approved and YES, i have recieved some feedback about the validity of this company, but the product IS made of all natural ingrediets and i HAVE talked to people that swear by this stuff!!
Please, only responses of people who have used it or know someone who has used it!!
I know you only wanted responses from people that have used FungRx, but I wanted to make you aware that there is a potential for toxicity with this product.
I know you just want the best for your kitty, and the lack of success with the ringworm is frustrating, but please do not use this product!
"All natural" does not mean that a product is safe. Often, products that come from natural sources can be extremely toxic! For instance, botulinum toxin is the most potent toxin known to man, and it is produced by a bacterium. I just want to dispell the myth that safety is not a concern when using natural products.
With cats, using products without the supervision of a veterinarian is especially hazardous, because they have poor activity of some of the enzymes that detoxify drugs and toxins. This means that drugs/toxins can build up the system and damage organs, whereas other animals and humans could break the compound down rapidly and would be unaffected.
There is NO tea trea oil in the version for animals.
There is a FungRx for people's use and it has tea tree oil in it, but not for the animals.
I have used it with great success! I highly recommend it. But I've already said that in other of your posts, so I won't get too wordy about it again.
Thank you for clearing that up. It makes me feel a lot better! On the websites I looked at, there was not a different list of ingredients for the pet formulation, so I did not realize that.

I know. The website doesn't show the ingredient list for the animal one... I was concerned about that myself, but I had called to check before I ordered. And before I replied on here last night, I double checked the bottle I have.
