Default Mizzit's at the vet :(

I just got back from the ER vet. Not sure what happened to her yet. I came home from my mom's earlier (she lives just down the street) and Mizzit was sitting in the corner and there was blood on her. I looked her over and found the blood was coming from her mouth and her bottom left fang was sticking out sideways.

So I ran her back to my mom's and we ran her to the vet( I don't drive) The vet looked her over and it looks like the left side of her bottom jaw has sort of been crushed(for lack of a better word to describe it)

I have no idea what could have happened. It's just bizzare. I'm going back as soon as Anthony gets home around 6.

Oh, my goodness, that poor baby. I hope the vet can help her to feel better.

Can you look around to see if there is any blood anywhere? Maybe a book, or something feel on her?

No, not Mizzit! I hope they can figure out exactly what happened and fix it.

Oh no, the poor baby... that sounds so painful

How on earth did the poor thing get her jaw crushed??? Do you think she might have fallen on something head first and hurt her teeth?

That's awful. Poor thing. Please keep us updated on how she is doing. I hope she feels better soon and they determine what happened to her. Does she have access to the outdoors through a doggy door? Could she have been attacked by another animal?

I told Anthony to come on here earlier to update, but he couldn't figure out how I fell asleep as soon as we got home.

Mizzit's going to be fine. She had xrays done and her jaw is fine. She somehow got a bunch of gum tissue and a couple little teeth torn to one side.
The ER vet said to wait a day or two to see if the teeth fall out on their own since they're baby teeth. I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do(I despise this vet) so I'm taking her in to my normal vet in the morning

I've looked all around the house and I can't find anything that could have fallen on her. And they're indoor cats so they don't have access to the outside. It's really baffling me. Now their food dish was on the floor, it IS possible that Havok knocked it down and was eating and Mizzit came along and he bit her.
He was the only dog loose, and she's acting really freaked out by him.
I REALLY hope this isn't the case.

She doesn't seem to be in any pain, she's playing right now. So she's feeling better.

So glad it wasn't a broken jaw (or worse). I bet Dr. House could figure it out. It would only take an hour, and he would have to almost kill her first, but you'd have an answer.
