What can i do to boost my FELV+ cat Immune System

Hi

My 8mth old kitty has been diagnosed with FELV+.

I've been doing alot of reading to see how i can boost his immune system to keep the diesease at bay.

So far i've read pretty conflicting thoughts on feeding a FELV+ cat raw food due to the bacteria which might further weaken his system.

There's this supplement called 'Transfer Factor' which is suppose to help lots for such cats. But its really pricey for a bottle.

I've read that Parsley is a good herb so i might start using it in his food.

Would like to know what the FELV+ owners are feeding their cats eg..diet, supplements

I currently have two FeLV+ kitties and sadly just lost another one. The best thing you can do for your cat is to feed the best quality of food that you can - wet food only, and to make sure they have as little stress in their environment as possible. I belong to a feline leukemia online list that has many knowledgable people as members. I would strongly recomend that you go there, they all have their own positive kitties and many of them have done extensive research into what works and what is "snake oil". This is the link:

They will help you with what works best to boost your kitties immune system and how to best take care of your cat if it becomes symptomatic. My Buzzy would have passed months ago without the advise of people on that list.

Sue
