Default Solid gold?

Has anyone used solid gold?
what do yall think of it.

I know the hole wet food thing but with a up coming move and twins to pretty much raise for my sister I dont have a lot of money anymore.

So I am trying to keep him on a high quality food without breaking the bank and solid gold is about the cheapest i could fine.

If you have any advice let me know this will be his food for at least the next five years tell my sister gets out of school and i stop supporting her twins.

Well, I wouldn't feed it. Potatoes as the second ingredient??

Honestly, even crappy canned food, as long as there's more meat than anything else, is better than any dry food . . .

My GF's daughter is a cat whisperer. SHe has 3 of the happiest, healthiest cats I have ever met. They have never eaten anything but dry food.

Well, my previous cats all seemed happy and healthy and lived until 13, 18, 17, and 13 eating only dry food. But they did all have mutiple dentals (meaning many times being anesthetized), and they died of kidney disease and lymphoma, both of which are potentially linked to dry food. They all could have done BETTER and lived longer lives with better quality of life for longer if I'd fed them better.

It's clear the OP is going to feed what she wants to feed, which is her prerogative. Just wanted to address the fact that even Solid Gold (a super-premium brand) is full of carbs.

IMO there are lots of people who love their cats and feed dry food.

Of course there are. ??? As I said, I did so myself for almost 30 years. Doesn't mean one can't try to do better, though.

Did anyone say people who feed their cats dry food don't love them??? I don't think so.
There is a wet SG that isn't too bad though.
As for the dry, I don't think it's great but it's not bad. I prefer Natural Balance if you're looking for an okay dry that is a little less expensive.
But, ultimately, I do agree that you're better off with the cheapest wet food rather than dry. Over here, you can find Friskies on special for 4 cans for a dollar at the supermarket.

First off let me say boss has been on primary wet for his whole life. well 50/50.

I had the fact that my sisters husband is leaving her and she needs someone to help take care of her kids i get the twins and my older sister gets the older ones.

So with babys I need all the money I can get. I did not plan on this happening life happens.

So i do love my cat and have been doing the best for him this just got dropped in my lap last week.

So i do love my cat and was looking for a way to keep him in my home by making his food cheaper.

But I will be asking a few other people. I thank you for your responces but in all honesty they made no sense.

I was purly asking aout solid gold i would rather him have a good kibble then crap wet food.

If solid gold is not a good food do you have some suggestions. I can not spend more then 32 bucks for every three months

So I do love my cat but two little girls need my help
