How is she doing today? She is such a special kitty with all she has been through and you have done so much for her. I hope she decides to eat on her own real soon.

She's definitely looking better today. Almost no gross runny nose, although she still sounds pretty congested, and she has been grooming a bit. YAY!

Last night's feeding went ok, she's fighting a bit more now, but still settled down a bit and chomped on the syringe and she ate a whole serving!!! She thought pretty hard about eating by herself this morning. I honestly think she doesn't want to because of how congested she is...I wish there was kitty decongestant like we take when we're sick. (I know she can't have our kind though. I'm sure I remember hearing it would be very bad for them...) I know I hate the 'I can't breathe while eating' feeling when I'm sick.

She wandered the house again today, with my bf making sure the other kitties left her alone, and she went to and drank from the fountain by herself! She also really wanted to have a snuggle with Doran before I left, she mewed a bit and tried to rub herself on him before I intervened. Wanted lovin's MUST be a good sign!

I've stocked up on the baby food she seems to like, I've been watering it down a bit and adding some parmesan cheese. Tonight; chicken baby food, sprinkled with smoked herring...maybe she'll be tempted.

Thanks again for the support guys, it's really helping me get through this. It's so hard to wrap her up and syringe feed her, knowing that it could be causing her trust in me to backslide...but it has to be done, and I can do it the least stressful way for her.

She ATE!!! No syringe feeding!

She started licking it from the syringe, then I offered food on a spoon and she lapped it right up! She ate most of her breakfast today by herself...YAY!!!

That's awesome! Great News! Franklin has gone as long as 5 days and it just makes you crazy. I'm 50 years old and nothing has upset me as much as his bouts of not eating. I'm really happy for you

Great news! Silly kitties, they sure do worry us beyond belief!
Hopefully it's all good for Jitzu from here on.
