So Jeckel has a swollen lip. I'm not sure what it looks like, as I'm at my parents house, and the kitties are at my boyfriend's house. He is still eating fine and acting otherwie normal, but he won't let my boyfriend near his lip. I suspect Jeckel got it through playing with Tav - they can be rough sometimes.
So my question is, do you think it warrants a vet visit? And other than taking a beating, what could be some possible causes? |

My cat sometimes gets a swollen upper lip, it could be either an allergic reaction to something or a pimple. I wash my cats face daily after her meals with Tropiclean puppy and kitten shampoo, it is soap free and very mild, no strong smell. Just scrub really good and wash it off with a cloth really well. (I use those lint free makeup remover oval pads) -- because for my cat it is usually a pimple.
