I am soooo annoyed! Missy has had fleas since we bought her!(2 weeks) She was meant to be de-flead but she wasn't.. I've tried so much stuff; flea bombs, flea tablets, baths, flea combs and they just keep coming back.
Shes 8 weeks old now, should we give her frontline or something similar? I'm seriously at my wit's end! Please help! |

I think you can get CapStar from your vet and the fleas will be dead very quickly, however you will also have to treat your home as well so you don't get re-infested. I would also check your yard to see if it is the outdoors that is 'contaminated' with fleas and people/pets going in/out are responsible for the constant re-infestation.
I have had great results with Advantage and Revolution. http://advantage.petparents.com/aboutAdvantage.cfm https://www.revolution4cats.com/default ... 20Overview

I don't know if it is in the UK. I think many USA products are available overseas, but oftentimes they are called by a different name. I'm sure the UK has a similiar product available, even if it isn't called by the same name.

I would be very, VERY careful about exposing an 8 week old kitten to multiple pesticides in multiple forms (systemic, topical, environmental). She would be very, VERY easy to poison with these products. Don't do anything more than use a flea comb and bathe her with plain (NOT flea) shampoo until you discuss this with your vet and tell your vet EVERY pesticide to which she has already been exposed.
