Percy is 11 yrs old and has slowed down,a little. But I've noticed something that seems to be pick-me-up: sunlight. In the morning Percy's kinda stiff and grumpy. He'll hop up on the bed, lie in the sunny spot. And THEN...he seems happier, he grooms vigorously, then falls into a light sleep until the sunny spot's moved. When he wakes up, he's more supple, energetic, and alert. Maybe he's onto something? Myself I take vitamin D (sunshine vitamin) for the winter blues. Is there an rda for kittehs?

My 14 year old RayRay loves to sleep in the sun. When you touch him he seems so hot, as it it would be uncomfortable, but he's happy.
A kitty I once had lived to be 23. He had some arthritis and the sun seemed to help him quite a bit. Do you think Percy could have a touch of arthritis?
