I wasn't sure where to put this but it seems health..ish....
Right now I have 24PetWatch (Quickcare plus plan) insurance. It's about 182.00 a year. It's going to expire next week and I wondered what other people are using? So, what insurance company do you use for pet insurance and how do you like it and...how does it compare costwise. Thanks all!

I owned my first pair of cats last year and I got Petplan. It was 152.XX per year per pet with $100 deductible and 90% after that, with $8000 annual maximum.
They need all the medical records, for me it was easy because I got my cats as kittens, so I gave the shelter's record and my vet visit records. Used it for Cheetah when he was hospitalized in May. The few visits and overnight stay cost me $1400+. I ended up getting $1000+ from petplan 2 weeks later. It was easy, fax/email all invoice and claim form, that is it. When I got Mui Mui early Nov, I went in and got a plan of $200 deductible, 100% afterwards and $8000 max annual. It is $180+. I like it!

I also have a Pet plan...its about £160 per year but whenever I need to claim I only pay my excess of £85 and the rest is directly paid by insurance so I do not need top worry about the costs... the best thing with them is that I do not need to pay first and claim back afterwards like with many other pet insurances...thankfully as I do not think I could pay £3000 out of my pocket!
