Default Sigh, cat vomiting

So my cat has been vomiting once per day for the past 3-4 days. It a few hours after his meal and it's not firm like a stool, it's sort of liquidy. I feed him canned Wellness. I can't think of anything that would cause him to vomit. All I remember is that I was feeding him raw beef heart and at midnight, he threw it all up - it all looked undigested. I wasn't worried at all since I know he's a fast eater. So then the next day I tried feeding him the beef heart and he wouldn't eat it. I gave him canned Wellness and he ate it right up. Then he threw up again. It was the chicken flavor. So then for dinner, I tried giving him the chicken flavor canned Wellness again and he wouldn't eat it. I offered him the turkey canned Wellness and again, he ate it right up. But then he threw it up. So I tried experimenting with anoter type of food I had which was the Meow Mix dry food I feed my feral/stray cats and he ate that (at this point he wasn't eating any canned food anyway so I had to get something in him) and he didn't throw up.

He's still eating canned food now. And he's eating the dry food. I don't think I've seen him vomit after dry food...it's only after the canned food, which is weird. He still has his appetite. he comes running for food and everything. His behavior is still the same, he is still very playful and moving around. he is not lethargic. He does not have diarrhea and his vomiting is not chronic, it's just once per day...after his meal. And a LOT of vomit, it looks like he's vomiting up the entire food. there's no blood or anything. He's just a year old by the way. I don't know why he's vomiting

I wish I can take him to the vet right now but I can't...not until this Wednesday, when i get my pay check. He's not losing his appetite or becoming lethargic so I'm not that worried. I'm just wondering what it could be. I fed him dry food today like 3 or 4 hours ago and he still hasn't thrown up. He's not throwing up when he's fed the low quality dry food but throwing up when fed canned.
