Default I think Teddy may have a UTI

He keeps going into the litter box and struggles to go usually producing only a few drops of pee. He is still drinking a LOT which means it hasn't progressed too far. I'm taking him to my parents' vet tomorrow to get looked at. Any healing thoughts, prayers, etc. would be much appreciated.

Aww, poor Teddy! It sure does sound like a UTI. I just went through this with Rochelle not too long ago...it's so hard to see them in pain. Glad you caught it early, and I hope poor Teddy feels better real soon. Sending all my positive thoughts and energy your way!

Well, Teddy is spending the night at the vets so he can get sub-q fluids and so they can take a urine culture and to make sure he doesn't have a complete blockage. I'm feeling a bit sad about having to leave him.

Teddy is home and his... equipment... is in working order. Poor guy peed in the carrier on the way home and was COVERED in it and had to get a rinse off Thankfully though, he seems to have forgiven me. I just need to give him his antibiotics and give him wet food only.

Aww, poor guy! I hope he recovers quickly! Good luck with wet food only - mine go on a hunger strike after about 2 days of wet only!

Actually, I'm lucky that my boys LOVE wet food. Teddy especially. No worries about hunger strikes here.
