It was amazingly low, especially for an overnight. The invoice shows that they didn't even charge me for his bath! BUT, they are in Delaware. If I could find a good vet (and fairly inexpensive) around here that would be best.

Completely irrelevant for you since you live no where near me, but I guess it's true that the South is cheaper. My most recent annual visit for my kitty, Harley, was a general checkup (no bloodwork, just a general overview, check teeth, listen to heart, etc. she was tested for FIV/FeLk before she was spayed by the rescue group I work with), 5-in-1 vaccine for FeLk, and I don't remember what else, and rabies, and it totalled out to around $75. I don't remember what it's been at other vet clinics I've gone to, it's been too long. I'll have to remember from now on not to choke at that price.
Of course, for Chi-Chi, before she died, we took her to the vet because I thought she had a UTI (she did). They kept her overnight for free because she had no urine in her bladder when we got there, did a urinalysis, gave me a box of Clavamox, and a bag of Science Diet c/d for around $93. The ER vet bill was like $300, but I like to think her last moments were more comfortable because she was there and on oxygen and hopefully her breathing wasn't as labored due to that. So I guess I'll quit choking at every vet bill. lol
