Glad to hear both Gigi and you seem to be doing well. It will be interesting to see if there is any behavioral change in Gigi, as the exposed root tooth must have given her some discomfort.

A strange coincidence just happened to me 30 minutes ago. I got three phone calls, one voicemail, on my cellphone. The message told me it was the animal hospital calling, the dental cleaning had gone well, and I could pick up Reilly any time this afternoon. Except I don't own a cat named Reilly and don't know this animal hospital, which is 30 miles away in another state. I did call them back to tell them they had misdialed, so the true owner will get a call from them. I had Blizzy's teeth cleaned in February, the others don't need it yet.

I'm glad Gigi has a healthy mouth now. How is she feeling today?

Hope she isn't sore & I'm sure she feels better already being back home.

She's doing great. She was back to normal by late last night. I have pain meds to give her 3x a day. The tech said they couldn't sew her gums closed when they removed the molar, so I have a rinse to use in her mouth after she eats, too. Fun, fun, fun. I have to take her back in 10 days so they can check it.

Gigi is so sweet. I put the liquid meds in her mouth and she runs away from me. And she's back 30 seconds later, purring and loving her Mommy.

Has her temperament towards the twins changed? Just wondering because sometimes cats temperaments will change after a surgery of any kind. I know Midnight's sure did after we got her spayed. Star and Lucky still nursed from her after the spay, so that may have had something to do with it, but for awhile, she would have made Gigi look like a sweet, innocent, little angel. I kid you not.

Nope. Well, she tried to touch noses with Cali, but Cali hissed. Can't blame her.

She's very mellow on the pain meds and prefers to be in my bedroom, even with the door open. We'll see how she is once she's all healed and off the meds, but I'm not holding my breath.
