My boyfriend just pointed out that he notices Chica coming down with these URIs corresponding with him coming down with his worst allergy symptoms. The pollen levels around here have been really high lately I wonder if that has anything to do with it? We're on doxy right now, I guess I'll wait and see what happens.

Sorry took me so long to get back.
I'm afraid I'm not very technical about my dosages. I usually open a capsule of elderberry, two capsules of llysine and crush one tab of vitC into powder then mix them all together in a small container for storage. I dose one pinch per meal, per cat (usually just Elliot). I keep him on this when I see his symptoms first starting, I can usually stop the worst of it. If I'm distracted and a bad cat-mommy and he just gets sick hardcore right away, I start asap and it tends to go away faster than if I had just let it run it's course. Again, usually I will need to get BNP for his eyes from the vet if it goes to his eyes real bad, this wont help if I don't catch it in time. Rach, allergies are totally an option! We had parrots (dusty ones) and we noticed Elliot was sick often, never left the bedroom... we rehomed the parrots due to lack of time (and my SO allergies) and now Elliot hasn't been sick since, and he wanders the house with no issues. Weird. We're thinking he was possibly allergic!
