Vomiting
So....I got home last evening and Bella had vomited - ALOT - in a few different spots. At first I was worried, and then I thought that maybe she was trying to cough up a hairball (there was no hairball that I could see). I cleaned it all up, fed them and she ate like a pig as usual. Fast forward to 5:00 a.m. today and she woke me up again, vomiting. She (and Bootsy) are new cats to me (I've had them 3 weeks) so I'm not sure what she sounds like trying to cough up a hairball, but it sort of sounded like that. We were at the vet last week and she was diagnosed with "yeasty" ears and prescribed Tresaderm. I don't see anything online that mentions vomiting with Tresaderm and she's been on it since Monday night. Could she get sick from ingesting some of it if she cleaned herself and some of it got on her fur? Also, the vet called me the day after our appointment to tell me they had tapeworm and gave me some Profender to administer. Could it be a reaction to that treatment? I notice she's not eating as much of her dry food as normal but is definitely eating her canned food. I'm thinking of trying petromalt or some other type of hairball remedy to see how that works with her - but I remember when I was at the animal hospital with my last cat the vet there had said no to petromalt... any opinions on this?
Thanks all and have a great weekend!
