Default Who has been in the litter box at your house last?

This is one of those silly, I just realized about my own pets kind of question.

By odor can you tell who has been in the litterbox last? I can tell which of the 3 cats just used the litter box and 2 of them have only been with us since Tuesday.

Mouse is extremely potent in the odor dept. This cracks us up as she is so petite and timid but man o man can she tear up a litterbox lol

Sparta and Sasha also have very different odors but not near as strong as Mouse.

Now I am thinking I am a freak because I can tell cat poop apart by odor alone

anyone else out there that can do this?

I can tell if my cat is going to like a food just by smell, so you can't be that weird.

is mouse neutered? un-neutered cats have a stronger urine smell, tomcat. It could also be a dominence thing

Yes, I notice that different cats have different poop odors. At first, I thought it was due to changes in food but they have been eating the same food for months and they still have different odors.

Unfortunately at my house this morning the last one in the litter box was the Boxer dog! Thankfully I use wheat litter!

She is a 9 week old female kitten spayed. I am pretty sure why her poo is stinky is due to her eating so much! She is such a little piggie!!!

Thanks for the responses, I thought I was becoming a little nutso lol
Glad to know my insanity isn't just me
