Food opinions please - Prowl
I have a vegan pair of friends who have been feeding their kitties the dry RC SO diet out of fear of urinary issues. I've recently managed to open on of their eyes to the issues both with dry & brand. The problem is with limited finances & an aversion to actual meat, the idea of something like Weruva (like my kitties eat) or any of the other good quality foods be they pate or chunk, are pretty much not going to work. I think I might be able to convert their 4 kitties (including 3 boys and 1 girl) to a grain free wet food life.
Problem is I don't know anyone who feeds this stuff - not even the dog variety. Any experience here with it? I'm going to email them to see about a sample and to make sure it's available in my area. It seems to be fairly cost effective though and as far as I can tell the ingredients seem ok, but it also sort of seems too good to be true. What am I missing?
