I've been recently trying to quit the Fancy Feast and find some premium brands that Chiquita would like, by like I mean lick the dish can I have some more please like.
She only eats a small can a day so I don't mind the expense, but I don't like tossing it out. After buying a variety of different brands and flavors and also reading here I discovered the Merrick BC 96% canned foods, I didn't notice them at first at the store because they were on a lower shelf then their other flavors. Any way Chiquita seems to like them all especially the chicken so this week I bought 3 cans of and 4 of the other flavors. She also like the Avoderm chunky Chicken but it seems to have a lot of gravy and last time I feed it to her this past week she barfed up part of her breakfast. I'd been listing all the brands and flavors I'd tried, then giving them a yes, no or maybe. She also liked the Wellness chicken, but didn't like the foods with veggies in them. |

Finnick is picky when it comes to wet food too. Thus far, all I can get him to eat enough of (meaning, he actually eats it and doesn't lick all the liquid off and then meow for something else) is the Weruva. He loves both the chicken and the beef. I can't get him to eat Wellness or Blue Wilderness. I wish we had Merrick here. I'd love to see if he'd eat that too.
Anyway, congrats on finding food! I hope she likes the other flavors as well |
