Thank-you for the website Oh that's good. I thought you could get lice from cats. Yes, I'm not sure if my cats have lice but will check I'll use some Capstar tablets then flea powder for their eggs if my cats have them. Which is best; crushing up tablets in their food or just popping it into their mouth? And is the liquid worming stuff better than worming tablets?

From what I've heard, kittens are often born with worms.

The white things, if they aren't moving, and are likely on/by the behind (look close to rice sized), would be tapeworm.

I guess Kitty would have worms if that's the case then. It's quite hard to see fleas on Catty because they are black and brown. She is black.

My two kittens are being treated for lice and it is pretty noticeable as long as you know what you're looking for. Little white nits near the tips of the fur would be the eggs and I actually brushed them with a flea comb and got one louse out. Dandruff and lice eggs are pretty distinguishable because dandruff comes off the fur if you brush it away, lice eggs do not. As far as I know, lice aren't that common. It's pretty disgusting, but thankfully isn't spread to humans! The vet I take my kittens to gave us Revolution and the numbers of flea and lice decreased within a few days, but you also have to understand that I rescued my kittens from the outdoors living with about 50 other cats, so it's pretty unlikely that your cats would have lice. Did you try using a flea comb at all?
