From what I've heard, kittens are often born with worms.
The white things, if they aren't moving, and are likely on/by the behind (look close to rice sized), would be tapeworm.

I guess Kitty would have worms if that's the case then. It's quite hard to see fleas on Catty because they are black and brown. She is black.

My two kittens are being treated for lice and it is pretty noticeable as long as you know what you're looking for. Little white nits near the tips of the fur would be the eggs and I actually brushed them with a flea comb and got one louse out. Dandruff and lice eggs are pretty distinguishable because dandruff comes off the fur if you brush it away, lice eggs do not. As far as I know, lice aren't that common. It's pretty disgusting, but thankfully isn't spread to humans!
