OHhhh someone is in trouble! Mow knows you would never ever send him back to the shelter!!! Or if you did - you'd be back for him in ten minutes...

I had a cat for years would poop out of the box. I took her to 4 different vets and no one could find anything physically wrong with her. When my ex husband and I decided to part ways, I took the boy cats (as I had bottle raised them) and he took the girls. As soon as the house was boy free, she started pooping in the litter box again. She was such a sweet cat though, and honestly I would have taken her in a heart beat (even if she liked to poop on the floor) if he didn't love her so much. The things we put up with.

Still waiting for today's deposit. He peed in the box last night so I guess he's ok with using it for that. When I was scooping it after his pee he was sitting on the daybed in there watching me, his butt on the bed and his front feed up on the scroll work of the sleigh part of the bed and I stopped to discuss it with him. I told him how very disappointed I was in him to do such a thing and that I certainly hoped something like that didn't happen again or I would have to look into a vet visit for a full exam and not only would that mean the vet but I might have to call Uncle Ryan (The ex husband he *hates*) to come over and help me with the visit.

Prince NEVER went outside his box - except on both nights right before I left for trips abroad.

hehehe, Kobie used to do that every now and again, never could figure out why....

If he does it again, just send him to me. I could use a little mowmow in my life.

I had a cat for 22 years who stopped using the litterbox for poo (she still peed in it) when I moved away to college (about 6 years before she passed away) she started pooping on a small bathmat. We just kept washing the matt every day and leaving it down for her. Like that was normal behavior or something.....
