Default Fruits and Veggies?

Hi,
I've seen lots of videos of cats eating fruits and vegetables. Is this okay? I've also seen on Wikipedia that the cat that lived the longest (Cream Puff lived like 36 years) was fed bacon, eggs and broccoli.
And I've seen a video of a cat licking a lollipop. Is that unhealthy for them? The cat was only licking it, but I'm still not sure.

What you've seen is generally the exceptions. Most cats would not live long on a diet of bacon and eggs. I'm not too sure about the broccoli, though. As far as licking a lollipop, I guess if it was a few licks, then it would be alright, but I wouldn't let ANY of my cats lick a lollipop.

None of this is okay.

Take a scroll through the Feline Nutrition Education Society's website for all lotta info on what cats should and shouldn't eat.

My granddad smoked two packs of cigarettes a day for 82 years. The emphysema didn't kill him until he was 98.

That's because it was only two packs a day. I'm sure if he had smoked 5 packs a day, he'd have gone sooner.

But you're lucky to have had your granddad for 98 years. I lost my Papa Wilfred (my dad's dad) to a heart attack at 70. My Papa Herman (my mom's dad) was 85. I think his death was natural causes, though considering he had Alzheimer's as well, mentally I lost him a few years earlier.
