Can my cat get sick?

For the past 4 days I have had massive headaches and 38 degrees Celsius temperature. I have a 3 month old kitten in my apartment. I adore her and I snuggle and kiss her all the time. Can she maybe get something from me or is she safe?

Cats can catch colds (Upper respiratory infections) but not from you. Kitty is safe.

There are zoonotic diseases (ones that can spread between human and animal), but the common cold/flu is not one of them. So snuggle away and hope you feel better soon!
