Experiences with Kittens and Fungal Infections?
Long story short... We found a kitten who was skin and bones, you could see and feel every single bone in her body, covered in fleas. A few days after being well fed, we noticed she had started losing fur on her back feet. We were afraid it might be contagious, as we have quite a few other inside pets. So we took her to the vet and he said it looks like a fungal infection, but he didnt do a skin scrape test to tell us if it was contagious he just prescribed "Posatex" which is a dog otic medication. Her feet are not healing at all, she is missing more fur on another foot. Should we continue the medication and take her back to the vet after or should i take her in sooner?
