Toby is going to be a big cat, right? So I would think the weight he's at now is fine.
To be sure, we have the most accurate cat scales around in San Diego, so I could drive over and pick him up and bring him to be weighed over here. I should have an answer for you in a couple, or 15, years.

I don't really know that there is a way to tell. Apple was about 6lbs at her 6 month check up. She is now 7lbs full grown. Her cousin was 6lbs at his 6 month check up and he is now almost 14 lbs lean! Pedro was 10lbs-ish at his 6 month appt and he is almost 15lbs lean. lol
ETA: My Zoe was just under 4lbs at her 6 month check up and grew to about 9lbs lean. Incidentally she was the runt of her litter and based on her weight at 7 weeks old and how very ill she was, her vet thought that if she lived she wouldn't likely be more than about 4-5lbs because of the damage that had likely been done nutritionally to her bones, etc.
