Has he been checked for coccidia or giardia. Both of these can result in stools the color you describe as well as a foul odor. I suggest you have Toby checked out by the vet...take a fresh stool sample with you.

When I posted, I hadn't read your other thread on "Instant Diarrhea etc." in changing food, and see your vet has already checked stool. The only suggestion is that the quantity was too much in the change and not gradual enough to the other food. It should only be very little at a time, say about 1/4tsp. to 1/2 tsp. until converted, so it isn't such a big change to the digestion. Hope you get him stabilized soon.

Sorry for the double post, but i found I had been giving him the wrong food the past 2 days.
I had always used EVO Cat, and I accidentally got the EVO Cat and Kitten which is 60% protein as opposed to 50% protein he had been getting. We'll see if things look better in a couple days |
