Default Cannot get rid of her congestion for over 3 months!

Hoping someone can help...Missy is our 14 year old cat. About 3 months ago, she started being VERY congested .... but only in her nose. Her lungs are clear. We have been back and forth to the vet but we are running out of options here. She does not sneeze or cough so a URI was ruled out. We did notice, and not sure this is still true, that it was only her left side that was congested. At one point, she did have blood coming out of her left nostril only. Not alot but it was there.

We did a head x-ray and nothing conclusive except the roots of two of her teeth looked inflamed and her left sinus cavity was congested. No tumor was seen. We had the teeth pulled and for almost 4 days, she was fine! Then...the congestion came back, but not the bloody nose. We rarely see any mucus. She seems worse at night.

We have had her on antibiotics, l-lysine, and arnica. She has seem a bit better on the L-lysine/antibiotics but she still sounds bad. We have also tried nebulizer treatments and, again, they seemed to help in the beginning but no longer do. She has days where she sounds awful and then days she doesn't sound so bad.

Someone told us about putting Grapefruit Seed Extract in her ears. Has anyone heard of that? We don't want to do it unless we hear from others that it is not dangerous to her. We also don't know what the ratio of GSE to water should be.

Any suggestions would be so welcomed!! Thanks!!!
