I got my oldest cat from someone who'd posted an ad on Craigslist. He was three months old at the time and he'd been neutered. My boyfriend thinks the man we got him from also mentioned vaccines, but I am not 100% sure if he actually got them or not.
I volunteer at a cat shelter on the weekends and I want to be sure Winston is vaccinated so I don't bring anything funky home and give it to him, but if he's already had vaccinations, would it be bad to take him to a vet and have more done? I should have asked his previous owner if he had records, but it's a little late for that now... |

Hi Pinkrobot
If you want, you can have your vet do something called a Titer test, that will tell you if he needs shots (at least rabies) Here is a little info on it. Blood Test for Dogs to Test Immunity; Don't Over-Vaccinate! | Truth4Dogs (I know this site is about dogs, but works for cats too. Good Luck |
