I am so very sorry for your loss of Nacho. It definately hurts to lose a special cat.

I'm very sorry for your loss of Nacho. And have read your final post before he went, I do think you made the right decision.

However, while I don't know about cats, I do know that dogs can go peacefully at home. My mother had a dog that everybody told her she should have put down, but he was still happy and apparently no trouble. She came downstairs one morning and he was curled in a ball, the way he'd always slept. He'd passed peacefully in his sleep. On line is not necessarily the last word on what to do.
