Tucker has had bouts of loose or mushy stool off and on all weekend. This morning he pooped outside the box which he has never done before. I checked his stool and did not see any worms. He's been licking and chewing on plastic a lot but I did not see any in his stool. I regularly feed him a high quality food (Wellness) but have recently fed him other wet food brands that were recommended here (Merrick and Soulistic). Yesterday he did not have any loose stools but he had several on Friday. Any ideas on what could be wrong? I've been alternating the wet food brands for the last week, could the switch be causing this? Or does it have to do with the plastic? I try to keep him away from plastic but he still ends up finding it in the oddest places. He's been playing and eating normally.

If I had to guess it would be the new food and they are just adjusting. Mine are having off and on loose stools too but like I said.... I think it's because I've started feeding more canned and no dry.
