Hi, My name is Sheri and I'm from ohio. I have a 12 week old kitten that i took in from my older sister who found 5 kittens in a bucket where the mother couldnt get too. So she took them in and i adopted one when they were 6 weeks old. My kitten i adopted is a boy and he is 12 weeks old and i named him Rollie.

He is just sweet. I also adopted a kitty who is roughly 12 weeks old(I think) a friend of mine has a farm and a littler was dropped off there. I have had quite the work getting him cleaned up. Have you noticed any fleas or worms? Ottis is being treated for ear mites now. Poor little fella'! I'm from pei in Canada. I am a 34 year old

aww he/she is so cute. yes i have noticed he had fleas and today i found a tapeworm on his butt. i dewormed him 3 times. he had roundworm, but i dont know what else he has... i feel movement in his tummy and its making noises. he is sleeping alot. before he was active but now he just sits there and stares. he seems depressed and lossing weight. he vomited alot. i finally got him to eat and drink.

You should probably take him to the vet for a fecal screening and exam. They'll be able to help him feel better.

Over the counter wormers aren't really safe or recommended.

Well my advice would be to take him to the vet immediately.
If he doesn't eat and is losing weight (2 things no cat owner wants to see), it's really important to see your vet.

I called the vet and made an appointment. Will be taking him on sunday.

He got his first FVR-CCP. he weighted 1.09. he temp: 98. something ish. They were suppose to take his temp again but didnt. They think he is under 12 weeks old cause he didnt loose his baby teeth yet. They needed a stool sample but he didnt go, so id have to bring it in tomorrow or next appointment date. He very skinny. They think he might be retarded but still not sure. They dont know what he has until i bring in the stool sample. they put a flea spray on him and didnt give him any more medicine cause he is very small and skinny but still has a bloated little belly. They gave us Knockout flea spray for the house and free kitten food.

Next appointment is 12/9/12

When they put a thermometer in his butt, he didn't like it at all. he was moving around kicking his back legs and id have to hold his legs to stop him from moving. he was meowing and i was petting his head saying "its ok. your fine." then he bite me only once. basicly trying to bite the lady nurse. After it was all done, he just sat their like nothing happened and being a good kitty, not jumping off the table.
